Umm... Hi?
It would probably be best if I gave you a bit of background, I'm guessing you don't know the in's and out's of the Foreign Office and to be honest neither do I. All I know, is my dad works for them and he gets sent out on 'postings' to different countries every now and then.
My life sometimes feels like it revolves on the Offices decisions on where my dad is going next. On where his next adventure will be to and if we- the rest of my family go with him.
I'll start from the beginning shall I?
First there was Tokyo, Japan- and I was born there(: Yayyyy!
Budapest, Hungary
Accra, Ghana- my little sister was born (but on a holiday back to England... so it doesn't really count but as my Dad once said "She was made in Ghana" ...ewww)
England- we came homeee!
Kabul, Afghanistan- Dad's first trip out alone, six months long
And currently: Luanda, Angola. Started at the end of November '11 for the next two years. We have just come back from our first trip there, three weeks long; seemed like forever.
So they're all his postings so far, it doesn't seem like many but they are for years. Not sure how long each one is for... I will find out subtly from Mum, she doesn't know I'm starting this- no one does. Except my best friend, she's the reason I started and she has been there for me- yeah it's cheesy but it's true and recently I don't know what I would have done without her.
Just realised after reading this back that anyone reading this will have no idea about me, I'm just a girl who lists countries I've been too, probably annoying though so maybe a bit about me?
I'm a chatty, 14 year old brunette, not that my hair colour makes a difference I just didn't know what fact to add in there. I have a Mum, Dad, older brother and younger sister. And probably some of the best friends ever. I love them all to bits. There's not really much else interesting about me? If in class we are asked to talk about ourselves I usually talk about my travels, but since that is what my blog is going to be about if I tell all now, there are going to be some very boring posts in the future, so I will keep that as a surprise:L
So, there you go, my first post. I'm quite proud of myself, the grammar and writing is awful, but I'm doing something instead of just lazing about as I usually do, and it feels good to know that I am going to tell someone about my adventures (although my bezzie may argue that that I mention it all the time "That reminds me of this time in Ghana...")
